Itinerary –


Day 1, Reykjavík : WELCOME to ICELAND 

 On  arrival at to Keflavik airport transfer byprivate Van to your hotel in the centre of Reykjavik.  Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is thecountry's capital and largest city. It's home to the National and Saga museums,tracing Iceland’s Viking history. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja churchand rotating Perlan glass dome offer sweeping views of the sea and nearbyhills. Exemplifying the island’s volcanic activity is the geothermal BlueLagoon spa, near the village of Grindavik.  


Day 02: Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Day Trip

Breakfast.   Today you'll travel ~1.5 hours to the villageof Fludir (in the Golden Circle area) to relax at the Secret Lagoon. The steamrising into the air gives the place a magical feeling, and the water stays at38-40 degrees Celsius all year. Enjoy a nice warm bath even when it's freezingoutside.  In the whole area, there areseveral geothermal spots and a little geyser which erupts every 5 minutes.Included in the tour is admission to the Lagoon; please don't forget to bringyour bathing suit. After 2 hours at the Lagoon, you embark upon thequintessential Icelandic tour to the Geysir geothermal area in the Haukadalurvalley, where the Strokkur fountain geyser spouts water high into the air everyfew minutes, before visiting the majestic “Golden Waterfall” of Gullfoss,considered by many to be Iceland’s most beautiful waterfall. Then onward to thehistoric geological wonder Þingvellir National Park, which is not only the seatof the world’s oldest still-functioning parliament 


Day 03: 

Breakfast.  PerlanWonders of Iceland Museum and Ice Cave Exhibition Entry - Perlan is an iconicglass dome building sitting on the highest hill in Reykjavík. In Perlan you canvisit an exquisite exhibition where you can learn about the wonders of Icelandicnature and experience them in a unique and unforgettable way. Visitors willfeel the power of volcanoes, earthquakes and geothermal energy and see a 10 mhigh realistically rendered bird cliff, rich with bird and plant specimens.They will experience oceanic wonders and watch as whales swim below their feet.Walk through a 100-meter-long real Ice Cave, the first of its kind in the worldand learn about Icelandic glaciers, their bleak future and the effects ofglobal warming in an amazing interactive exhibition.

Whale Watching Cruise - Meet us at afternoon at theVesturbugt harbor area located in downtown Reykjavik. After a safety briefing,board your boat and set sail in search for some gentle giants in the cold NorthAtlantic waters. Iceland is one of the best countries in the world forwell-organized whale watching.  The shiphas 3 outdoor viewing platforms and a large indoor saloon with toiletfacilities and free Wi-Fi, always full with light snacks, hot drinks, softdrinks and alcohol beverages


Day 04: 

Breakfast. Reykjavik City Sightseeing by Minibus - Your Reykjavik sightseeing tourincludes short stops at several different locations around the Greater capitalarea. Visit the presidential residence at Bessastadir, built between 1761 and1766 and home to Iceland's president. In Reykjavik you'll go to the Perlanbuilding, which was built on water tanks that hold the city's hot water supply.Here you can enjoy the spectacular view over Reykjavik and its surroundingsfrom Perlan’s top-floor revolving restaurant. Explore Hofdi House in northern Reykjavik, where the all-importantsummit between President Ronald Reagan and Secretary General Mikhail Gorbachevtook place in 1986. You will also visit Hallgrimskirkja (the largest church inIceland and one of its tallest structures), the University of Iceland area andthe old town center, where the Icelandic parliament Althingi and the town hallare situated, as well as the Harpa concert hall


Day 05:   BlueLagoon Return Transfers

Breakfast.  Getpicked up from your hotel in Reykjavík(or designated bus top) for the transferfrom Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon. On your way to the Blue Lagoon you willdrive through the lava fields of the Reykjanes Peninsula, the drive betweenReykjavík and the Blue Lagoon is approx. 50 minutes. The Blue Lagoon was formedin 1976 during operation at the nearby geothermal power plant. In the yearsthat followed, people began to bathe in the unique water and apply the silicamud to their skin.  .



DAY 6 -  AuroraBorealis Northern Lights Hunting

Breakfast.  Dresswarm, and proceed with your expert guide as they explain the science behind thenatural phenomenon as you drive deeper into the dark of the Icelandic night.The lights are at their most frequent in late autumn and winter/early spring.Between the autumn equinox and spring equinox (15 September – 15 April),However, the weather is also of importance, and September, October and Novembertend to be wet and snow-less in the north. From December the weather dries up,and there is normally plenty of snow. If you come in December or January, youexperience the polar nights with atmospheric evenings and very short days. InFebruary and March the days are longer and you see more of the snow-cladlandscapes during daytime, and the evenings still offer maximum chances to spotthe northern lights.
